Location
Our room was upgraded thankfully to a junior suite with 2 large windows facing the ocean, because our original room was so hot and had a tiny window and couldn’t breathe in there, and no air conditioning . Great breakfast

Brindisi is a lovely small town, full of charm and beautiful views. You pretty much can cover everything in one day, leaving the remaining days for day trips to nearby locations. The only issue is that if you are not driving, you are not going to be able to fully experience all that this town has to offer. We personally took the train to Lecce, Gallipoli, Bari and Polignano a Mare. Food is excellent literally in EVERY PLACE. Totally recommend.

Brindisi is a small town in the region with an airport...
Brindisi is a small town in the region with an airport served by the low cost airlines. You can choose this place if you want a quiet get away where you can just chill. The town itself is a half day visit max, if you are into sight seeing. Having said that, since the town has an airport and a train station, this could be your hub from where you can visit the other interesting places of the region. the Train Italia's website and the ticket vending machine will give you the mode of transport (both bus and train) and timing if you punch in the destination. Bus services to other towns are mostly once in 30 or 60 mins. So start early and finish early. Lecce, Alborobello, Locorotondo are doable. If you want to visit other places, I would suggest start early. People are friendly here.

Brindisi centre is 13 minutes drive from the Airport. We enjoyed our short stay there before exploring Puglia. We decided to return to the City on our last day as we loved the restaurants along the port, particularly Betty’s

A relatively quiet port town, more popular with Italian tourists than foreigners. Great for an authentic Italian holiday experience- not too fancy but with a pretty promenade and a good choice of restaurants and shops. Good train connection with some attractions of the area, but not all of them (there are different railway companies in this area and some more distant journeys need good planning). Be sure to use the water tram to cross the harbour- it costs one bus ticket and it's very pleasant:)

Brindisi is nice place but I felt more a stop off place on the way to alternative locations. We travelled to Monopoli and Alberobella by train and both were amazing . Also took a train to Lecce which is nice too but we arrived when most shops/restaurants were closed for siesta so hard to really give a true picture. We were slightly disappointed with the food generally.. plenty of pizzerias but found it hard to get spaghetti bolognaise or Lasagna on any menu.

Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with...
Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with quaint houses and Baroque buildings is like stepping back in time. The town's stunning architecture is a blend of different influences, reflecting its rich cultural heritage. Visit the Cathedral of Brindisi, with its beautiful blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles, or admire the majestic Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna, a noble residence turned contemporary art museum. The Column of St. Lawrence is another architectural gem, standing tall since the Roman times. Brindisi’s location along the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea grants it access to breathtaking beaches and a picturesque coastline. We selected the Hemingway Beach.
Susanna is a lovely, open-hearted person willing to help for anything and everything. The vibe is very homey and location is nice having quick access to the airport, beaches (with a bike that Susanna can lend you!), and the attractions such as the Monumento. It's a tranquil residential area and worth a visit. There are sunbeds in the garden and you can do your laundry for an extra cost. Susanna also offers a good deal taxi service.
The room was very comfortable, although small but you have all you need. The colors and ambiance give relaxation. The room was very clean and got a cleaning service during our stay.
The location is great, around 6 minutes walk from the train station.
Francesco is a super host, very nice person and very responding.
If i go back to Brindisi, I will definitely book Alis Home.
you'll need a taxi to get to and from the airport terminal building or possibly there is a bus as the walk would be an impossibility with luggage despite being very close.
A reasonable beach for swimming within a 10 minute walk is a bonus.
3 restaurants within a 10 minute walk of mixed quality and price or you could buy things and eat in the kitchen at the b and b
The staff was very friendly and helpful they provided a taxi number (Bruno Taxi) so we can move from the hotel to Brindisi Center as we did not have a car. The cost for a ride from hotel to Brindisi center was 20 euros, as we were a group of four 5 euros each was ok
The rooms are exactly as presented, goog choice for one night stay.
The restaurant is easily one of (if not THE) best in town. We avoided it at first because it felt lame to eat where we were staying, but then we tried it for dinner the last night and it was POPPIN with people. It was also the best seafood & pasta meal of our entire 11 days in Italy traveling the southern coast...
Brindisi is a lovely town, you can go by ferry (motobarca) from near the location to the middle of the town.
We just stayed one night to catch our plane early in the morning, the airport is five minutes away, so very convenient.
The owners (father and daughter) are super nice, it was a warm welcome.
The staff was very helpfull and friendly, the location is great, situated in the center, there is a bus that directly goes to the beach infront of the hotel. The view of the room is great and breakfast was also not bad. The bed was confortable even the room is small the bed was big enough.
Private flat, comfy bed, very clean, good location! Coffee, tea, juice etc available. Enough utensils to cook as well. Good host, they gave us very good recommendation for the beach and were fast to get back to us. Loved it!
Fabio is a very kind and supportive host, providing his guests with an excellent experience. We enjoyed staying there in Brindisi, location is very nice and cosy close by the beach, city center, restaurants and bars.
Located in a beautiful area of Brindisi, right next to historical landmarks. Shopping, beach, food all nearby. The beds were comfortable and rooms very clean. Staff was very responsive and nice.
Great location near to to Brindisi airport. But can be noisy, all conversations travel through the rooms and corridors. Host was delightful and friendly. Recommended for early flight.
it was very nice to have a very modern room with a sea view near the airport and close to the beaches. really nice Brindisi is the whole area close. I will definitely be back
Location was excellent and convenient for me to go to work and access a good restaurant when I came back from work. Close to the main shopping areas in Brindisi.
